Westwood Hills Nature Center in St. Louis Park is a beautiful natural space in the metro encompassing 160 acres. The reserve is home to bogs, a small lake, walking trails, an apiary, deer, turtles, fox, mink and owls.
Westwood Hills also features a National Demonstration Nature Play Playground featuring rock style features, tree top climbers, spider net rope features, leaf elements and a large rubber coated climbing mound with slide.
But Minnesota Wisconsin Playground does more than playgrounds. We also built the shelter at the Upper Picnic Pavilion, surrounded by native wildflowers and a lily pad pond, and added the bike racks where bikers can lock up before exploring the nature paths.
